Dewar's and Ocean Drive Magazine, held a cocktail party to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month

Dewar's, Scotch brand and Ocean Drive Magazine, held a cocktail party to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month on October 6th.  In tribute to Latin talent, the event showcased the artwork and photographs of renowned people in the art industry such as, painter Oliver Sanchez, along with star’s photographers Omar Cruz and Gio Alma.
Tthis celebration became the perfect occasion to celebrate and meet interesting people in the Hispanic community in the City of Miami, who shared the same pride of being “Latino“.

What was hot, cool, good and best?
Hot: The opening of the event with a fabulous performance by tango dancers Gabriela Schaffer and Luis Vivas.
Cool: The support given to the Hispanic community by Ocean Drive Magazine. In our interview with Michele Addison, Associate Publisher of Ocean Drive magazine, she let us know with great emotion, how pleased she was on providing support for these three visual artists. "I love to support Hispanic talent," said Addison " we have a magazine specifically dedicated to Hispanics".
The good: There is no doubt the talent of these three artists, Omar Cruz, Gio Alma and Oliver Sanchez .
Omar Cruz, with his unique selection of 8 photographs, showed his rapport with each artist, achieving the perfect balance in each photographs. "This is the first time I display my pictures in public," added Cruz. We immediately asked what was the favorite photo of Omar Cruz? "My favorite work is the photo sequence, performing with Ricky Martin." Replied Cruz.
For his part Gio Alma impacted with his potrait of the singer "Chayanne."
Oliver Sanchez, the Cuban painter was the favorite of many art lovers gathered at this time. Sanchez showed talent as well as sympathy. He also explained and analyzed his paintings “Algee Guy," " Nunsmoke" and "Pattyhearts" to the guests.
" I have been involved in art for a long time," Sanchez said "I love Miami, especially in these time when people of this city are giving more support to art.”  Sanchez has his gallery Swampspace located in Miami's Design District.
Best: Once again 5 stars for Susan Spticianos's work and her Dream Team Agency. Susan has been doing an excellent job in Miami, supportting the Hispanic talent.

Fashion’s Night Out. The night at Bal Harbour Shops

Very successful Fashion’s Night Out at Bal Harbour shops.
Top designers, celebrities, models and beautiful people came to celebrate “The fashion event of the year”.
All the stores that participated were pretty amazing host, with champagne, appetizers, models and shows.
The favorite host of women was Chanel . They had free manicure and champagne for all their customers.

Chloé had Maria Celeste (host and producer of “Al Rojo Vivo) hosting their event. Unfortunately we arrived there when she was leaving, but Giulliana Ardito, her fashion stylist, nicely came to receive us and apologized for her. She said “ Maria Celeste had arrangements somewhere else”. Chloé was also taking 3D pictures for all their guest.

The magazine Vogue Latinoamérica was giving away september’s magazines and everybody had the opportunity to participate in a simulated live photo shoot.

In the middle of the open courtyard was a huge party with games, food, live music, and a fabulous open bar.

Dolce Shot (the new energy shot) was giving away nice bags with their samples.
The game was open to the public, everybody could participate along with some of the celebrities like Nat Moore (sport Celebrity) and Belkis Nerey (co-anchor of WSVN).
The winners got prices and T-shirts from The Buoniconti Fundation (The Miami Project to cure paralysis).

One of the most popular exhibition was The Collection with their expo cars from Maserati: GranCabrio and Gran Turismo 2011.
Gorgeous models from diferent stores like Fendi, Gucci, Yves Saint Laurent, Dior, Graff and Brionj were walking through the courtyard the entire evening, showing their designs to the guest.

The best of the evening were the guest, who made an effort to look their best. They gave an unforgettable feeling that sophisticated the atmosphere at Fashion’s night out at Bal Harbour Shops.

Nicolas Felizola. Amazing 2010 Men’s Collection 10 degrees less under Miami’s sun.

Nicolas Felizola, Venezuelan designer, launched his Uomo Collection 2010- 2011 with amazing hand made designs in Australian wool fabrics that makes it 10 degrees less under the sun.





Suits, jackets, Shirts, Pants, the entired collection were made in Naples, Italy with traditional tailoring that become all his designs into unique pieces that make men feel confortable, elegant and fresh.


" Men's fashion does not have to be boring" said Felizola, "of course, always following my classic, simple and minimalist lines with a modern touch, thinking of the man who wants to stand out by his good taste and sobriety".


Nicolas Felizola, lawyer, painter,singer, photografer and designer has express himself through different arts but his major passion is fashion design.



His devotion to Haute Couture has made him win many prestiguious awards. The most recently were " Designer Choice Award 2010"and " Men Style Award" in Miami International Fashion Week.






Black is in again thanks to Nicolas Felizola who brought with his Uomo Collection 2010- 2011 fresh air to elegant business men of the city of Miami that are more than happy with Nicolas Felizola's proposal.



His privated atelier is located in Coconut Grove by appoinment only.
